According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), this recall is identified as campaign number 25V455000 and could affect 850,318 vehicles across the U.S. A remedy is still under development. Ford will begin mailing safety notification letters on July 14, 2025, with a second letter to follow once a repair solution is finalized.
